• Model MMS-120H・220H・ 320・1020・3020
♦ Stable shaking from a low speed of 20rpm to a maximum of 250rpm.
♦ An efficient aeration makes it suitable for pre-culturing yeast and culturing E. coli under stress conditions after transformation.
• Model MMS-120H・220H
♦ It supports continuous operation and long-term use in high-humidity environments and CO₂ incubators. The applicable ambient humidity range is up to 99% RH for chamber temperatures of 37°C or lower and up to 85% RH for temperatures above 37°C.
• Model MMS420・4020
♦ MMS-420 is exclusively for figure-8 shaking, while MMS-4020 is compatible with figure-8, reciprocal and orbital shaking.
♦ The figure-8 combines up-down and left-right shaking for uniform mixing.
♦ When set to a high shaking speed in a figure-8 motion, it achieves efficient shaking, making it highly effective for aerobic bacterial culture (see data).
♦ Supports stable shaking from 20 to 120rpm (figure-8) and 20 to 200rpm (reciprocal and orbital). The gentle and uniform figure-8 shaking at low speeds is ideal for gel and membrane washing, ELISA reactions, and Western blot reactions and washing.
• Model MMS-320・1020・3020
♦ Stable shaking from as low as 20 rpm to 250 rpm. An efficient aeration makes it suitable for pre-culturing yeast and culturing stress cells after transformation.
♦ MMS-320 and MMS-3020 allow both reciprocal and orbital shaking in a single unit. The shaking mode can be easily switched with a one-touch operation using the front lever.
• Model MMS-520・5020
♦ It provides stable shaking from low speeds of 20rpm to high speeds (see data). The orbital shaking function operates within a typical range of 20 to 400rpm, with a maximum of 450rpm when using centrifuge tubes.
• Installation in incubators and chambers
The ambient temperature range of all MMS models is 4 to 50°C. They can be installed in one of our incubators (SLI, LTE, LTI-E, FLI, or MTI models) or housed in the dedicated constant temperature chambers (FMC or FMS models).

Please select the main unit and optional shaking platform according to your intended use.
♦ Performance values are based on room temperature of 20°C, rated power supply voltage, 50Hz, and no load.
♦ Shaking platforms are not included. Please select from the optional shaking platforms according to your requirements.
♦ The usable load varies depending on the type of vessel used and the rotation speed.
♦ MMS-120H and 220H can be used in high-humidity environments. The operating ambient humidity range is 95±5%RH or less (internal temperature: 37°C or less) and 85%RH or less (internal temperature: 37°C or more).

■ Growth of E. coli (comparison by shaking speed)
Using the MMS-520 model, we compared the growth efficiency of E. coli at different shaking speeds. As shown in the graph, growth was more efficient in a shorter time at 450rpm.

Flask holders for 300mL or larger come with fixing springs.
Maximum shaking speed:
• 400rpm for 50mL and 100mL
• 250rpm for all others

• Constant temperature chambers (FMC or FMS models)
♦ The FMS model has the temperature control range of room temperature +5 to 50°C.
♦ The FMC model is equipped with a refrigerator and has the temperature adjustment range of 4 to 50°C.
♦ The maximum installation size is 400W × 340Dmm for FMS-100 and FMC-100, and 500W × 390Dmm for FMS-1000 and FMC-1000.
♦ Installed shakers can accommodate 2L Erlenmeyer flasks in the 100 model and 3L flasks in the 1000 model.
♦ The bottom plate inside the chamber slides back and forth, and the door is designed to be stored in the upper section (top storage type), allowing smooth loading and unloading of shakers and culture containers.
♦ A cable hole (36mm ID) is provided as standard.
