Low Temperature Bath with Magnetic Stirrer using Natural Refrigerant Model PSL-1900


Enable precision control in cryogenic (-80°C) environment

  • Using the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with a GWP of 3 and R170 (ethane) with a GWP of 6, this model achieves a 99.99% reduction in GWP compared to the conventional model (PSL-1820), contributing to the fight against global warming.

  • Not subject to the requirements of Japan’s Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law.
  • Eliminates the needs for management tasks, inspections, and the creation and retention of records for fluorocarbon-equipped products.
  • Eliminates the costs and hassle associated with the disposal of fluorocarbon- equipped products.
  • Reaches -80°C approximately 15 to 20 minutes faster than the previous models.
  • Once the target temperature is reached, precise and stable temperature control is maintained.

Maintains a uniform sample temperature with high precision

  • The solution in the bath is vigorously stirred by a powerful stirring, while the stirring bar in the reaction vessel also agitates the sample, ensuring precise and uniform sample temperature control.
  • Vacuum insulation is used for the bath to achieve exceptional thermal insulation performance.
  • A new insulation system enables continuous operation for the PSL-1900.
  • By using an insulated cover (optional), the cooled state can be maintained for up to 7 days.

More Stable Temperature Control than Dry Ice Cooling

  • While dry ice-acetone refrigerant allows for rapid cooling, the temperature is unstable.
  • The PSL-1900 takes time to reach -80°C, but its vacuum insulation effect maintains an extremely stable temperature.
