Key Features

• This compact freeze dryer is designed for small vessels (see the combination guide below) , and its space-saving design allows placement on a laboratory bench.
• The 3.4-inch LCD display provides excellent visibility.
• Choose the FDS-2100 (dehumidifying capacity: 150mL) or FDS-2200 (dehumidifying capacity: 750mL) to suit your application.
• A compact, lightweight cooling system that uses environmentally friendly helium gas. Unlike conventional products using fluorocarbon refrigerants, products using natural refrigerants have zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and an extremely low global warming potential (GWP), making a significant contribution to global warming mitigation.
• A 0.2µm filter equipped on the air inlet prevents contamination during vacuum release. Nitrogen purge capability is also supported to prevent sample oxidation.
• In Auto mode, the system monitors the trap cooling temperature and vacuum level and indicates when the conditions are suitable for attaching sample vessels.
• The operating time can be set to resume operation or shut down depending on the duration of a power failure.

FDS-2100 Sublimation Rate

Place the sample (water) into a pear-shaped flask, pre-freeze it, and attach it to the trap. The sublimation amount is calculated back from the remaining amount in the pear-shaped flask after a set period of time.

FDS-2200 Sublimation Rate

Place the sample (water) into a pear-shaped flask, pre-freeze it, and attach it to the trap, and then calculate the sublimation amount back from the remaining amount in the flask after a set period of time. The maximum capacity that can be processed at one time using 500mL pear-shaped flasks with pre-frozen samples is up to 3 flasks at an ambient temperature of 30°C, or up to 2 flasks at an ambient temperature of 35°C.
