The model UT series efficiently captures hazardous vapors by utilizing temperature differentials. When using vacuum ovens or centrifugal evaporators, a cold trap is required. It effectively traps water vapor and toxic fumes emitted from vacuum drying or concentration equipment within the vacuum system. This not only significantly extends the service life of exhaust systems but also ensures compliance with emission and drainage regulations.
Note: The larger the temperature difference between the solvent’s boiling point under pressure and the collection unit, the more effectively vapors can be condensed and captured, thereby increasing recovery efficiency.

Note: Set the trap temperature based on a guideline of at least a 10°C difference from the solvent’s boiling point under the specific reduced pressure.
