The “ChemiStation” Personal Organic Synthesizer, enables parallel chemical reactions in five reaction vessels. The unit improves the efficiency of synthetic processes, including the development of new reactions and catalysts, reaction condition testing, screening, sample synthesis, and intermediate synthesis.
◊ Each temperature can be set individually, enabling simultaneous experiments under different temperature conditions.
◊ Equipped with reflux, gas displacement, heating・cooling, and stirring functions as standard features, it is effective for the development of pharmaceuticals, catalysts, and functional materials.
◊ The temperature can be adjusted over a wide range, from -28 to 160°C (varies depending on the model). Adjacent blocks can be set with a maximum temperature difference of 150°C.
The cooling cartridge, with improved operability, can be inserted from both the left and right directions.
◊ Both upward and downward ramp control is possible, allowing for a gentle temperature increase to the reaction initiation point and a slow cooling process for crystallization.
◊ The synthesis scale can be changed by purchasing optional Teflon® caps, aluminum blocks, etc.
◊ Equipped with a reflux block that comes into contact with the powerful reflux test tube.
The reflux block, cooled by the cooling water circulator, cools the upper part of the test tube, so the reaction solvent vapor is sufficiently fluxed. The high reflux efficiency makes it possible to conduct reaction experiments over long periods of time.
The LED light allows observation of the reaction progress (such as color, reaction status, and stirring intensity) inside the test tubes through the front observation window.
◊ Reaction under inert conditions is possible by gas displacement.
The gas introduction line of the Teflon® cap at the top of the test tube is equipped with a switch valve for alternating between the vacuum line and the inert gas line. This setup allows for easy deoxygenation and dehydration within the test tube and enables replacement of the atmosphere with inert gas. By slightly opening the top of the test tube, reactions can also be carried out under gas flow conditions.
◊ Low speed stirring and suspension reactions are also possible, taking crystallization into consideration.
◊ The electrical section is air purged to prevent the intrusion of flammable or corrosive atmospheres.
◊ In the unlikely event that a test tube breaks, the condensation receiving tray (made of Teflon®) will protect the equipment.
◊ The double chamber prevents condensation on the aluminum block and protects the test tube from scattering when it breaks.
◊ The septum allows reagents to be added by pipetting.
The reagent can be injected by syringe through the septum and pipetted under an inert gas flow. Since it comes with a taper joint (TS15/25), you can use your existing glassware. Dropping funnels can also be used for dosage experiments, which can be conducted under inert gas flow as well.

◊ Performance values are based on room temperature of 20°C, rated power supply voltage, no load, and use of cooling water circulation system (cooling capacity 330W, at -30°C).
◊ Connection to a cooling water circulator (CCA-1112A, CA-1116A, or 1330) is required for temperature control or reflux below room temperature.

Since the model PPS is a component-based synthesizer with interchangeable parts, it allows for adjustments to the synthesis scale by changing parts, except for the main unit (temperature control and stirrer), which remains the same across configurations.
