◇ Samples bump when the vacuum is drawn without any vacuum control.
◇ After vacuum drying, splattered samples get baked onto the interior walls, making them impossible to remove even with cleaning.
◇ Rapidly suctioning samples with high moisture and high volatility overloads the cooling trap, causing the temperature to rise and significantly delaying the drying time.
Options born from customer feedback
By controlling the vacuum level within the vacuum oven and adjusting the pumping speed of the vacuum pump, the system effectively manages the process. The vacuum level can be controlled using a gradient function; by gradually lowering the pressure, bumping of the sample is suppressed. This prevents the sample from splattering or adhering to the interior walls due to sudden boiling.
