| By controlling the vacuum level within the vacuum oven and adjusting the pumping speed of the vacuum pump, the system effectively manages the process. The vacuum level can be controlled using a gradient function; by gradually lowering the pressure, bumping of the sample is suppressed. This prevents the sample from splattering or adhering to the interior walls due to sudden boiling. | |
